Trees
I aim to capture the spirit of the tree not a literal representation. I believe that each tree is a living being with it’s own spirit, much like a human. I will often paint the same tree from many different angles in order to get to know it better. I believe that trees are the life blood of our planet, they have stood for generations, outlive us all. By stopping and listening we gain some of their wisdom. If I can paint that wise spirit then maybe will will start listening to what the earth is telling us.
